A Digital Resource for Research and Education

National Museums of Kenya (NMK) is a multi-disciplinary institution whose role is to collect, preserve, study, document and present Kenya's past and present cultural and natural heritage. The NMK has partnered with to provide information about and facilitate access to CT scans of fossil primates (including hominins).

Researchers interested in accessing the CT scans should fill out a NMK CT License Agreement Form and email it to Dr. Samuel Muteti ( and Dr. Emmanuel Ndiema ( If you have submitted an application but have not heard from the museum for two weeks, please email Prof. Matthew Skinner (
